Batting first after losing the toss at The Village Stadium in Dublin, Team India scored 185 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Rinku Singh, who is playing his second international match, gave the team a good finish by playing an innings of 38 runs off 21 balls.
Before Rinku, wicketkeeper Sanju Samson scored 40 runs off 26 balls and Rituraj Gaikwad scored 58 runs off 43 balls. Barry McCarthy was the highest wicket taker for Ireland with 2 wickets. While Craig Young and Benjamin White got 1 wicket each.

After scoring 129 runs in 15 overs, the team’s score could reach only 143 runs in 18 overs. Shivam Dubey and Rinku Singh were taking time to set up.
