Kohli ran more than 500 km on the pitch in 15 years

August 18, 2008 – Match vs Sri Lanka… Virat Kohli made his international debut exactly 15 years ago. Kohli played his first match for Team India against Sri Lanka. Kohli has so far scored 25582 runs with 76 centuries in 501 matches in his international career (ODI, Test, T20).

Virat Kohli has run 510 kilometers on the cricket pitch in his 15-year career. He ran 277 km for himself, while 233 km was covered by running for his partner. This includes only the runs he scored by running, i.e. not including boundary runs.
518 average while chasing

Kohli has performed brilliantly with the bat in the T20 World Cup. He was the player of the tournament in T20 World Cup 2014 and 2016. Meanwhile, his record while chasing the target has been excellent. Kohli’s batting average while chasing in the T20 World Cup is 518. No other batsman could even reach an average of 200. Meanwhile, India have won 9 out of 10 matches and Kohli has remained not out in eight.

46 out of 83 places scored a century
Kohli has played cricket at 83 venues so far in his international career, out of which he has scored centuries in 46. Among his 76 centuries, he scored the most five centuries at the Adelaide Oval. Sachin Tendulkar is the only player to have scored hundreds at more venues than Kohli. Sachin has scored centuries in 53 places.
Century on World Cup debut

Kohli scored a century in his ODI World Cup debut and a half-century in his T20 World Cup debut. He was the first player to do so at the time. ODI World Cup 2011 was Kohli’s first World Cup. He scored 100 runs in his first match against Bangladesh. He then scored a fifty against Afghanistan in the first match of the T20 World Cup in 2012.
A terrific performance against the host nations
Virat Kohli has scored centuries in all nine countries where he has played ODIs. Along with this, he scored centuries in seven out of eight countries in Tests. Among them, Bangladesh is the only country where he has not scored a century. While in Australia, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa and West Indies, Kohli has scored centuries against these countries in both ODI and Test formats.
