India-Pakistan match in Asia Cup-2023 remained inconclusive due to rain. In such a situation both the teams had to share one point each.
After winning the toss and batting first, the Indian team gave Pakistan a target of 267 runs, but the Pakistani innings could not even begin.

This is the first time in the history of Asia Cup that India’s top-3 batsmen have been bowled. Rohit Sharma scored 11 runs, Shubman Gill scored 10 runs and Virat Kohli scored 4 runs during the match. Out of which Rohit and Kohli were bowled by Shaheen Shah Afridi while Gill’s stumps were uprooted by Haris Rauf.
Fasters got all the wickets for the first time
For the first time in the history of the ODI Asia Cup, a team’s fast bowlers have taken all ten wickets. Left-handed pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi took four wickets in the match. Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah got 3 each.
Largest ODI partnership with India for the 5th wicket against Pakistan
Hardik-Ishan made the biggest ODI partnership for India for the 5th wicket against Pakistan. Both had added 138 runs in 141 balls. Earlier this record was held by Rahul Dravid and Mohammad Kaif. The pair of Dravid-Kaif put on a 135-run partnership at the Kanpur ground in 2005.
